San Jose Man Destroys Immortal Record

As people who share irrational desires to do things to excess, we applaud the efforts of Mr. Chestnut and encourage California residents to support him in his undoubtedly approaching Senate run. Mr. Chestnut, we salute you.

However, if you are truly the champion, you will eat this hot dog.

Good luck!

What is "a year's supply of hot dogs" for someone who can eat 59.5 in 12 minutes?

The answer is simple arithmetic. The man can eat 59.5 hot dogs in 12 minutes, or 297.5 in an hour. Multiply by 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year, and you get 2,606,100 hot dogs in a year.

The question is, does he have to buy his own ketchup?
